I am currently trying to install kazaa on a friends computer. I keep getting an error message that says that require components are missing possibly because I didnt reboot after installing. But I did. Any ideas?

Stay the hell away from Kazaa. It has long been known as being full of spyware. Consider Kazaa lite instead, I've used it and it works fine.

 

DEFINATELY NOT Kazaa! ... as maverick said,

I use kazaa lite and a fairly new one called ares. If you try ares just make sure you un-tick the search bar and navhelper options during installation.

 

I'll give it a shot this Friday. Funny that you should mention that as they originally asked me about things that were messing up the computer and I installed spybotS&D and adaware to get rid of some stuff (about 600 things or so).

Is Kazaa lite even available anymore? If it is I'd like to know where, I tried finding it a couple of months ago with no luck.

I've done many google searches and everytime it comes up with a lot of information but no place to download. Everyone had removed the download. I see now that it's back in various versions. Thanks!
