Can someone please tell me how to remove the name of a program that is in the list under the Add/Remove programs list (under control panel). The program has been removed from my computer, so I don't understand why the name of the program is still on the Add/Remove programs list. When I hi-lite the name of the program and click remove, nothing happens, the name of the removed program remains on the list of programs. Also, where does this file reside on my hard drive?

P.S. I just found this site today, and I look forward to interacting with people from around the world. :)

    THANKS A MILLION DAIZY!

Thank you very much Daizy! :) It worked. I have been trying to remove that Program from the Add/Remove Program list for days. The site you recommended had the answer (using the Regedit.exe) function, and a step by step instruction list once inside the Regedit. Once again, thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Tar Heel
