Netscape 7.1 or 7.2 wont start.

No matter where I download from I can't get either version to work. Please help. This is very frustrating. I am so considering using IE Please dont allow that to happen. Thanx for your help

When you click on the Desktop shortcut, what happens? Does Netscape start, or can you at least get to the Internet? In order to give you the help you need we will need more specifics, please.

Nothing at all happens. I can still use the net just not using netscape. All the other browsers work fine with the exception of netscape 7.0 I cant load any flash objects even though I have installed the flash player several times.

Uninstall all versions of Netscape through Add/Remove. If you have 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2 installed, then uninstall Netscape 7.2 first, this is important. Once uninstalled reboot the PC.

Delete these folders:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\mozilla.org\GRE\1.4f_2003062408
C:\Program Files\Common Files\mozilla.org\GRE\1.7.2_2004080415
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape
Now reinstall Netscape 7.2.

If you have Mozilla installed, don't share that Profile with Netscape.
