    Running WinXP SP1
    Internet Explorer 6.0.2800

When I try to create a new folder in Windows Explorer I get the message
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and will need to close ".
Details list module shell32.dll or rundll32.dll or unknown
I've run Adaware, Spybot, CW Shredder and Spyware blaster.
Have unchecked and checked 'disable script debugging' in Internet Explorer.
All these step have failed to resolve this annoying problem. Any ideas?

    Correction to my prior post
The file specified is not run32dll.dll but kernel32.dll

Check your event logs for errors or warnings that have more detail. If you find one/some, open the event, click the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text copy to the clipboard) and paste the information here.

If there are no entries, we'll need to find out where else the crash is being trapped and get details from wherever but thats usually a little more involved so hopefully the simple way will work.

I'm not sure how to access event logs. Could you help me out?

It's under Administrator Tools in Control Panel.
