    Hello rodger,

Try going the long route and reboot. See if that makes it stick.

Go into the control panel > appearances & themes > display > settings tab. There you will see a slider for changing screen resolution. Adjust to your preference.

    Regards - Charles

    rodger,

I don't have a tab "models" after clicking advanced. Probably depends on your hardware. I'd have said you were in a resolution with lower numbers than 640x480, and all you had to do is drag the slider to a higher resolution, or click on advanced > adapter > list all modes. I've seen this happen after a child uses the computer and changes the resolution. Sometimes the mouse won't reach the buttons to click and you have to know the keystrokes to change the resolution. In fact, I've done that over the phone. :)

I'd like to learn more about your hardware, and what you changed.
