I can't seem to find the switch to activate the Send and Recieve email function in OUtlook 2002 (XP) I had it in previous versions.

Does anyone know where it is hidden?

Outlook help has been no help:(

    fanceydave,
This definitely was not easy to track down. It is hidden in another function. If you go to Tools > Send and Receive Settings > Define Send and Receive Groups and then 'check' the 'Schedule and automatic send and receive every so many minutes', Selecting this option will cause Outlook to check your mail when you open it. If you set the number of minutes to a higher value (say 120 min) it should not interfer with your normal email viewing. I believe this function is only active if Outlook is open, but I'm not sure because I didn't check that. Hope this works for you... I'm going to play around with this a little more. Let me know if you have any problems...
