    Hey,
I ordered the CD about a week ago and it was in today's mail! That sure surprised me that it only took a week to get it.

Same here, today's mail. I picked up a copy from Staples on Friday and used that.

    sp2 cd

    Hi
That sure is good news, I ordered mine and I'm hoping it shows up soon. I was getting autoupdates but that stopped after about 3 days and I haven't seen it since. I would much rather use a cd since I'm on dialup. I stopped in at Best Buy and CompUSA asked both stores did you get the cd's in for sp2 and both said yes but they weren't giving them to customers, they told me they were for their own use. Now I really don't know how many each store got so I didn't push the issue, but I heard they were going to be made available for everyone, I got the long song and dance about "Do You Know How Long It Takes to make a whole bunch of cd's. I figure either I'll get the cd in the mail or by some miracle the stores will be flooded with them like the Free AOL cd's.

    Hello Shirl,

I had no problems in getting one from Staples. If you have one in your area, try them.

Both the packaging and cd label looks like it came from MS, not a store copy. If Welshjim reads this, he can confirm that, he's the one that posted about SP2 being available at Staples.

    Regards - Charles

    thanks for info

    Hi Charles,
I'm pretty sure there is a Staples around here, I'll check their locations on their website. I was a bit surprised when Best Buy and CompUSA didn't have any for customers. But maybe they were limited to how many Microsoft sent them.
    Thanks
    Shirl

Anybody in Canada get theirs yet?

I was at a Staples yesterday...wonder if Canadian Staples stores have them...maybe I'll make a phone call. Thanks for the Staples heads up.
