Program Files Folder Problem

Hi,

I have a problem that I'd appreciate some help with.

My four year old was (without my knowledge) messing around on the computer, and he dragged and dropped the program files folder into another folder. This totally messed up things on the computer. A lot of stuff isn't working as they should or not at all etc.

I tried to drag and drop the folder back to where I know it used to be, but I got a message warning me that doing that could create registry problems.

What can I do? Things are in such a mess on the comp now. Any and all help will be totally appreciated.

Hi mich2mom, Just drag the folder back, ignore the registry warnings and reboot the PC. If you still have errors, try a restore of the registry ...
Boot with a floppy
Type
Scanreg /restore
Choose a RBxx file before the lad made a lamer .
Remove the floppy and reboot the PC

Please forgive my ignorance......but I'm not sure I know what that means...the underlined part. Can you explain?
