How do I change the default download folder in XP SP-2? Do not want the D/L files to go to my desktop.
    Thanks,
    Lou

    Lou,

Use the drop down arrow and the box where it says desktop will expand and you can select any folder on your computer. The next time you dl, the dropdown will show the last one you used.

You can also drag a shortcut to the download folder of your choice to the quick launch toolbar. I have a shortcut there to the Windows/Temp folder that I use for downloads. Makes it easy to access your chosen folder.
