I'm in need of help with this hijack this log

    Well, if you want to be sure they aren't open due to viri activity, do an online scan at RAV. Can't hurt and often-times will catch things your AV won't.

    If you are fine with ShieldsUp, you are fine. Some programs may need some of your computer's ports to be open, just to be able to communicate with The Net, but the more important thing ShieldsUp checks on is, if those open ports are visible from the outside. They may be open, but for an outside world, they are "stealth" = invisible, so if ShieldsUp sees them as "stealth ", you are perfectly OK.

    Thanks for trying to help me understand my computer problems. I just couldn't understand why and how the ports got opened. When I scanned with ShieldsUp, everything came up as stealth (which even I know is a good thing). :D You all are great, keep up the good work!!!
