Do you have any personal firewall software installed like McAfee, ZoneAlarm or Norton IS ?

    Application error Part III

    Hi Unixfan!,

You don't mess around do you? It was indeed the Firewall causing the problem. I did a deletion of programs and through process of elimination the firewall was causing the problems.

I looked at the article in the link that was given to me by Gary but I don't have the nerve to mess with the registry. Do you have any other remedies? Or perhaps you can coach me through this registry modification. I would appreciate the help because I love McAfee Guardian...it is right on top of things! Please RSVP as soon as possible..thanks!. :)
