I recently bought a second hand computer running on Windows 98. I upgraded it to XP home but with the wrong disc. This copy had already been loaded and activated on my second computer . Windows will not let me activate it properly because it is already being used on a second computer. To try and fix this problem i bought another copy of XP Home but i am not sure how to replace the old (activated) copy with a new unactivated copy. I am not sure whether it's possible or not but if anyone can help me fix the problem before i take it back to school i would be very grateful.

There is an exe floating around that will allow you to change the key without reloading. I have a copy of it and I will hunt it down.

Not sure if I can attach a zip file here I may have to E Mail it to you.

Yes, you insert the new XP disc and you install it.
