I need to know how to keep a full page, after closing it and then accessing it again..
    I will give an example:
I go to Start, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, and Administrated Tools.
I then click "Services ". The page view is small. I have enlarged it several times using different options.
However after closing and selecting "Services" again, it comes up small.

Previously, I have checked "Remenber each folder view settings" under Tools, Folder options and View.
Is there an option I have failed to set to keep a full page after chosing and accessing the page again?
    An answer will be appreciated.

I think this may be by design?
It is also the same in W2K.

With other folders and Internet Explorer pages they will remember the setting providing they are the only page open when you set your prefered size. In other words if you have two IE or folder pages open and resize the second one it will be determined by the first pages settings.
This doesn't seem to apply to the services example you gave. It only reopens in small mode.

    Hi Paul & Bill...

I have looked over h*ll's half acre looking for something (reg hack or some tweak) but have come up empty. Much prefer to have the *msc windows open full size.

    Retaining a full page view

Paul and dobhar, thanks for your imput. I cannot understand why I have to use another keystroke to enlarge a page. It looks like this is the way it is going to be. I hate to be constantly resizing my pages.
Not that I am lazy or anything. VBG.

Here is some information that may be of value regarding image resizing. I believe it is relative to this thread.

IE 6 has a new feature that automatically resizes large images to fit in your browser window. You expand an image to full size by hovering your pointer over it and clicking on the button that appears in the lower-right-hand corner of the image.

If the shrinking images puts you in a grumpy mood, disable the feature. Select Tools on IE's menu bar and click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Multimedia options and uncheck Enable Automatic Image Resizing.

Thanks for replying to this thread.

Curious. When I drag the window to the size I want, and then hold the control key down as I click out on the X, XP has no problem "remembering" the size of the window, except for the Services window, mentioned above.
