I have small problem.....1. I have two folders that won't delete, when I click on them I get the little hour glass and it seems to freeze everything. I have tried changing the name of folder......doesn't work.
Thank You for any suggestions........ :)

Some folders cannot be deleted. If you want to, fully, remove them you should do it on the hard drive. But, some folders will just be rebuilt. It depends on what they are.

    Hi peggy,

Could you tell us which folders cannot be deleted? Should we assume you're talking about Mail folders?

The folders are in my mail account...starting with inbox, drafts, templates, sent, junk, trash, bron, broni1, computer stuff, jokes, my stuff and recipes.
I would like to delete bron and broni1 because when I try to move something to there it won't go, so no sense in having the folders. Those are the only two that don't work, everything else is fine.
Today I reinstalled Mozilla 1.7.2 over itself but it didn't fix anything.

    Peggy,

    Close Netscape and Quick Launch
Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to your Mail Account Folder. Delete the bron.msf, and broni1.msf files. Open Netscape and see if you are able to move messages to the folder.

If no joy, create two new folders with different names, and drag the messages in the bron and broni1 folders to the new folders. Now see if you can delete the empty bron and broni1 folders.

Okay...so far, so good. I deleted the bron and broni1 folders in Windows Explorer. Went back and was able to move messages into broni1 and tried to delete empty bron folder.....but it still won't delete.
Wish to keep the broni1 folder but don't need bron folder. If you don't know a way to delete it, then guess I'll just leave it there.
    Thank you...... :)

Are the folders, folders in Windows Explorer, or are they just sets of files?
I have an Inbox.sbd folder, which contains subfolders of the Inbox, but no other folder in Explorer. It would not be normal to have other folders.
As for the files, there are no attributes shown when I right click on the icon, and select Properties.

Thank You so much.......I got it deleted. The one most important step I forgot was to close everything and reopen......then it was gone.
    Everything is A-OK now......thanks again.
