    the sticky didn't help me.

I had previously transferred my old outlook emails to my new computer outlook by copying and pasting a file in windows I think.

I am trying to find out what file that was. I didn't have to copy my emails individually or do it through outlook. Through the browser I just found the file and copies it.

There was some website that told me how to do this but i can't find it anymore.

It's important for me to do it this way because my hard drive crashed and they can only recover files.

    Thank you.

whournameiz--Did a search on Google for "transfer outlook files "
    Came up with several suggestions
"Copy the pst-file and then connect to it by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
    File... "
"Copy the PST on one computer to the other. Make sure it's not read-only,
and then open that PST in Outlook with File>Open>Personal Folders File.
COpy the items from the second PST's folders to the appropriate original
PST's folders. When done, right-click the second PST's root and choose
    Close. All done. "
and an offer to sell you a program

whournameiz--My suggestions were based on Outlook (per your post), not Outlook Express. If you meant OE, post back.
