Icon colors, setting are 32 bit, but they look CRAPPY

    What's going on? They look like icons you'd see on an old Win95 machine, heres a screen shot:

    Could you tell me what's going on? And will a Win2k repair delelte anything on my HDD?

    Repair shouldn't delete anything.

    That is for sure a trashy looking screen.

    Was it ever better than that?

    What monitor and graphics board?

    It's always been better than that. I updated my video driver and it fixed the basic icons, but other programs like winamp and AIM for example still look trashy. I have a HP Ultra VGA 1280 17 in monitor and ATI 3D Rage Pro.
