Win98 16 bit resources

    Thanks for your time - is there really no workaround the 64k limit ?
    I sometimes get a warning about low resources - and no, XP I do not
    want yet, until it runs my 98 apps at least as well as they run now.

    The "workaround" is to reduce the number of apps that are running in the background, specifically those that start automatically at boot time. And/or identify the app that is specifically drawing excessive resources and replacing or upgrading it.

    The limit is an architectural one.
