I just recently connected my TV to my computer via s-video to act as another screen for my computer's dvd player. Everything is working correctly, except that the display on my tv is shifted slightly to the left, it is not flush with the right side of the TV screen. Is there any way to correct this?

usually you can tune this using the video driver. either under the 'advanced' button of display properties, or with a little control panel thingy from the driver itself.

As Joe says, and usually under the TV out tab in your display properties.
Depending on the driver installed for your graphics card, it may be worth checking if there is later software available as often the software included in the driver download has been changed/improved with extra tweaking features.
