Out of Office Assistant Outlook 2k

I am needing assistance with Out of Office Assistant please.

The user returned from business trip and his out of office cannot be turned off. The error states 'this action cannot be performed.'

I have tried to perform a repair for Office as well as removing and completely reinstalling the full Office application ending with the same error.

I have checked the MSoft sites and have not been able to find a solution.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just a stab in the dark but try this, click on Help in the Menu bar and select About Microsoft Outlook then click on the disabled items button to see if it may have been disabled by some process or program.
