Hi, can anyone help me to answer this question:
"What is the maximum number of routers that can be recorded in an IP datagram if the timestamp option has a flag value of 1? Explain why? (Assume IP version 4). "

    THX

keeps going until the destination host recieves on an invalid port (Default 33434), the host responds with ICMP "port unreachable" messages indicating an unreachable port.

    To answer your question:
infinitely or finitely based on the number of routers between host & client.
