pst file - know password but can't delete

    Have backed up Outlook 2002 (in Win98 se) many times, but for some reason password protected the file this time. Now I cannot move it to a disc or delete it from my desktop. I get no prompt for a password, just "access denied ". I do not want to restore this data since it is now out of date. How can it be zapped?

    problem fixed

    Don't know if it was due to a restart or to closing Outlook, but the files deleted OK now.
