I have a Pentium IV 1.6 with win XP
home. I just bought a Micro Advantage
DVD+ and - RW. Comes with Roxio
Creator 6. My computer has all the
requirements met. But it says must
have "one enhanced IDE port ". What
is an enhanced IDE port. My computer
has a CD rw and DVD player. I am
going to replace the CD RW with this
DVD RW but before I open the box
I need to know what an enhanced IDE
port is and do I have one. Can I install
    this DVD RW.

Also is ROXIO creator 6 a decent program.
What can you tell me about it.

    Thanks, Jerry

I would assume they mean an Ultra 100 or Ultra 133 IDE Port with an 80 wire IDE cable.

Not your 40 wire Ultra 66 like most secondary IDEs are.

Most controlers have it marked in Blue.
