I have just installed this usb mic and the device manager sees it as a question mark AK5370 and says the drivers for this device are not installed, I tried reinstall but with no luck. It came with no drivers and I can't seem to get any help from Labtec and tried search google with no luck as well

I am using winxp home edition..

    any help would be appreciated

I've got a couple of Labtec USB mics and although I sure as Sam H_ell don't know if they're the same model - I had no problem installing - XP Pro picked em' right up. They are listed as USB audio devices in the control panel. I've got one more around here somewhere in its original packaging so if I locate it, I'll post back and let you know what the model # is. Guess my question back to you that may be of some help is - are you running on USB 1.1 or 2.0? Might want to try switching your connection around if you have both.

    ;)

OK, finally got around to it - yup, Labtec Verse 704 USB Microphone. Mine work great and I had no problems with the installations (just plugged 'em in). Maybe you want to remove it using device manager (keep it physically connected) and then try add new hardware wizard. Don't know what else to tell you - there was nothing to it.

    ;)
