Direct X9 has wont install!

    I just bought Doom 3, but it needs DirectX 9 to work. So when I go to downloading it, its stops halfway, says "this product has not passed windows logo testing ", and then shuts down. I MUST INSTALL DIRECT X 9!!!!
    How can I get it to work?


    DirectX 9=Microsoft product
    Windows= Microsoft product
    and there not compatible? Microsoft sux!

    Nevermind- I figured it out!

    I had to rename my CatRoot2 folder
