I've recently installed AOL9 from v8.0 and now have the following problem.

The dial-up works fine in for AOL but not for IE6, so I can't browse. If I connect to a network and use a shared ADSL connection this works OK but not using the dial-up connection.

I've scanned and dealt with any Malware and hijackings all to no avail. Any suggestions would be very helpful, especially how to remove AOL9

    Thanks for the suggestions.

IE is set to not dial a connection when I connect via the network and ADSL modem. However when I test a standard modem dialup I've tried both a temporary connection and the AOL dialer.

When connected using the AOL dialer, AOL displays OK but will not surf any pages outside of AOL as this requires the use of IE. It seems to me that for some reason IE is unable to access the net via the modem.
