    Hi Lonny...

Five seems to be arbitrary number pulled out of a hat by Microsoft, and the Dos restore window will only show five ....

The ability to have more than five has value as in the case of a friend who was responsible for several computers in remote locations that he only saw once every 2 weeks (employee's where constantly bringing games to work and installing them) increasing the backups gave him a chance to rollback without a bunch of grief....it worked for him.....

    Cheers
    Jake

When I had 98 I used to use a batch fileto restore the registry. If you use it instead of scanreg, all of the backups will be available to you. Works great.
