How do you convert MP3s to CDA so they can be burned to CD? I'm planning on intsalling Nero Burning ROM 5.5. Does that come with any conversion utilities? TIA.

Nero will do the conversion for you, on the fly. Select create audio cd, drag Mp3 files to the burn list and away you go. Good choice on your selection of Nero. I learn more about it everyday. Happy burning :)

Oh, OK the manual didn't say that. Sounds like a good idea. I originally used Roxio's software and it was garbage. I'll be installing the Nero today and then I must get some CDRs.

    quick question about Nero

    Good evening all...
I currently have Roxio ECD and seriously considering trying Nero. Are these two programs friendly enough to live on the same computer? or do I need to uninstall Roxio before trying Nero? Seems I heard somewhere they could cause a problem being on the same machine but I can't remember where. (gettin' old *****)

I have heard it both ways. I think once you try Nero, Roxio will soon disappear from your system. If your using a dual boot setup, try one on each Op system. Best of luck :)

DO NOT put 2 CD burning programs on the same machine. Can lead to crashes or even prevent Windows from starting.

Personally, I've found Easy 5 (Roxio) to be testy with Windows 98. At least with my setup, Easy 4 seems to be more stable and burn better.

Roxio 5 seems to be ok with XP.
