    Hello,
I am trying to play an old DOS game on an old Windows 98 machine. In order to play it, I set it to run in DOS mode.

Sometimes (most of the time) it seems to exit with the following message:

I dont know why this happens, and it doesnt happen all the time , only the majority of the time.

    Specs of the old machine:
    Windows 98
    Pentium 1 150MHz
    128MB RAM

Maybe the game needs an older version of DOS. Are you using setver.exe? It's used to mimic older DOS versions and should exist in your Windows folder.

I don't know anything more about it. I just noticed once it was loaded in my config.sys (?) file and went to Google to find out what it was.
