Is anyone aware of issues/reasons why I shouldn't run office XP with Windows 98? I have a client that would like to do this, but not sure if I should recommend it or not. I would love to talk them into upgrading their OS, but of course dollars are an issue. I haven't personally experienced Office XP with Win98.

    Thank you in advance!

    Good Evening...
I've been running OfficeXP Pro (pro version includes Access, I also use FrontPage 2002 as part of Office) on Win98se and have not had any problems. There is a service pack available (sp-1), this also seems to be stable. If your replacing an existing version of Office, I highly recommend uninstalling the old version first. If you (or your client) still have concerns over compatibility issues, Office 2000 is also very good and should still be available. The service pack for Office 2000, sp-1 is fine, but please read all the information about sp-2 before installing. There are some fairly drastic security measures in sp-2 (for Office 2000) that need to be considered before implementation.
