Yes I know, they're a gimmick and, DO I REALLY NEED ONE!
But I was thinking of a Flexiglow Electroluminescent keyboard for a bit of night surfing. Downside is this particular make isn't USB and doesn't have the extra USB ports my MS keyboard does. Great for quick connection of things like USB pen sticks.

    Anyone used, or have one?

a guy around here has 2 of them, also they were reciently shown on stargate SG-1 :)
They seem to work ok. The only problem I know of is that they throw a lot of EM, so much so that it will buzz when he is talking on the telephone.

    Well that's gotta be a recommendation :D :D

A bit more EMR for the brain, why not! ;)

So is the reason you only sort of like it because of the "laptop feel" keys as opposed to the harder key clicks of most keyboards?

I'm wondering myself if I'll be happy with these softer keys. My Toshiba lappy has the softer keys and I still haven't made up my mind. I guess that has something to do with the fact I'm only a 2 fingered typist.

Yeah, it was mainly that but also I felt to confined with it. I guess I just missed the feel of my MS kb. I love the USB part though as I can plug it in every once in awhile and use it in the dark.
