i am hoping that someone out there can help me. i installed word 2002 and started having problems receiving my e-mail. when i try to open my messages i get the message from 'just in time debugging' that "an exception runtime error has occurred in script" it goes away when i click close but pops back up for the next message. is there anyway to remove this or at least disable it?

    Two suggestions.

    - locate the file normal.dot. Rename it to normal.dot.old. A new copy will be created the next time you open word. The one you have may be damaged.

    - you don't mention your browser but assuming it is Internet Explorer, go into Tools~Internet Options~Advanced and in the Browsing section
.. place a check mark by 'disable script debugging'
.. remove the check mark from 'display a notification about every script error'
then close your browser and email programs.

I think the next time you try, things will be OK.
