avg download

    I just downloaded avg. When I try to install it I hit setup and then a File error comes up
    "Cannot find SHELL.DLL "
    When I do a search SHELL.DLL comes up in
    c:\WINDOWS\System
    Thank you for your help

    I am not sure if this would help but you could copy the shell.dll to your System32 folder as maybe this is where AVG is looking.
