At present I'm using Cool!Remote control 1.12 . But it seems http://www.yaosoft.com/ isn't activate any more.

TightVNC is an enhanced version of VNC, which is optimized to work over slow network connections such as low-speed modem links. It allows you to access your computer desktop remotely via a client program or with a web browser, using the built in HTTP server While original VNC can be very slow when your connection is not fast enough, TightVNC allows you to work remotely almost in real time in most environments. Besides bandwidth optimizations, TightVNC also includes many other improvements, optimizations and bugfixes over the original VNC. TightVNC is compatible with the standard VNC.

There are a few different flavors of this popular software. SmartVNC in another one.

    Steve R Jones,

thanks for your quick reply and Sorry to say I had forgotten to write that I need the software as a system service which automatically starts with windows and not as a simple application which automatically starts after user login.
No need to explain that when a software runs as a system service, it'll be available before a user logs on (at welcome screen or before that).

I'll check your link and hope they offer what I'm looking for.

I appreciate your information and help.

I use a program called Remote Access. It will load on the remote machine and run hidden. Load the client on the machine you wish to use as the controller and you can do most anything you need.....also lets you transfer files. Works over IPs and also dial up. Good piece of software.
