I recently did a repair on a windows XP Home system that is sharing a program . Un fortunatly the person that did the original install loaded it in the Pragram Folders Directory. Now I cannot access it via the network due to it being a system folder. Its NTFS and there is no security tab in the properties . Also I know in Pro there is a simple file sharing tab to bring up security tab but no idea if there is one in Home or I cant Find it. HHEEEELLLPP!!!

    Thanks Jason :)

I'm sorry, but I've not got a great deal of experience with XP home - I use Pro mostly.

However, first thing that springs to my mind is: Have you tried login on as Administrator? The lack of a security tab suggests to me that you are logged on as a user without Admin rights.

I'm running XP Home using an account with administrator privileges and the "Sharing and security" option is on the right-click menu for files and folders, including system files and folders.

So make sure you're logged on in an account with administrator privileges.
This page has a good overview of setting up file sharing on XP Home.
