Windows must restart Internet Explorer

after several minutes I get a window that says IE must be closed and restarted but this causes an exception error.HHHEEELLLPPP

When this happens is there more text on the screen?

Alternatively, does it give you the option to 'send a report to Microsoft'? If it does, then at a later step you can see what will be sent - i.e. the details of the error - and you could post them here.

 

Microsoft IE has encountered a problem and needs to close.

then 2 buttons: "Send Error Report" and "Don't Send "

at the bottom of this window I can click on "Details "

then a window appears : "Error Signature "

with: "AppName: i explore.exe "
"AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 "
"ModName: jscript.dll "
"ModVer: 5.6.0.6626 Offset 0002b55a "

then you can click on a "details" buuton that opens a window with several thousand lines of characters.
I click to send ... report is transferred... then I click to close.

Immediately, a new window appears stating that iexplore has attempted an invalid page fault.

Assume you use ie 6,get the final version, uninstall previous version and re-install
Experienced the same problem and only 5.5 works ok if you cannot get final version

Was it jscript.dll or jscript16.dll? If it was the former, then maybe have a look at this:
