What is the name that appears at c:documents and settings. A friend installed xp-pro on my son's computer and now a "joke" name is appearing there. How do you change it? It also appeared at the top of the start menu but he was able to change that in control panel/user accounts, but it didn't change the doc and settings folder name.

You could just create a new account and copy any user files from the old to the new. If you don't want to do that you can try the method mentioned on this page. Sixth post in the thread. Apparently it worked for this person. I've never tried it myself. If you try it, let us know how whether works or not.
