    Inconsistently, receive error message in OE when moving a communication from one folder to another. Message says kernel 32 is involved, an illegal operation has been performed and OE will be shut down. And no matter what I do OE shuts down, but not the machine, Windows or other programs. In a short while I am able to start up OE again without difficulty but it is a nuisance. Then often am able to perform what I had tried in the first place. Once there appeared a blue screen and the entire machine froze and had to be turned off and restarted.
    Appreciate any constructive comments.
    Thanks, ALK

    Try a new identity from
    File->identity->manage identity->new.

    You may need import messages from the old one.

    Good luck
