Every now and then an OE email message I send will be bounced back. When I correct the problem I would like to just click a single button to "Resend" to the original addressee. However, I cannot find such a button. So I have to go through a copy and paste into a New Message, or Forward (having to reset the address, subject, etc.).
Does any one know of a simpler method? (Like a hidden Resend?)

So. You have used Outlook from Office?

I save all my Sent memos. Forward the one I want, edit, send. It's part of the Express feature in Outlook Express.

Seems like the fix would be to allow editing of a sent message. wish I knew how to set permissions.

pinochio is right. I save my messages, too, and then just delete them when I am sure I don't need them any more. What I do is, open the message, click forward and do my editing there. Then send. Don't really know any other way to do this.

Let us know if this works for you, welshjim.

    :)

Thanks, guys. Forwarding a Sent message is one of the two methods I was referring to (though not very well expressed). You still have to re-enter the addressee's address and, of course, it looks like a forwarded message.
Ideally I would just like to press a magic Resend button on the Sent message, but it seems no such thing exists.

It doesn't have to look like a forwarded message, just highlight the part you don't want (previous names and addresses) hit delete and send it on it's way.

You could always invest in an alternative client such as The Bat! which allows for re-sends and re-directions.
