I have had this software for a year or so - & have used the video CD portion a couple of times. Today - there was an error message when clicking on to do the CD (which read like this) Some required files for recording on disc cannot be found. The recording engine cannot be initialized. I went to the help site & was given a patch which I downloaded & installed. Everything seemed to work OK - till I got to the record button - which did not hightlight for me to go ahead & burn the CD. I don't know what to do now - & if there is anyone out there with this particular programme & can help me - I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you & hoping someone can help me. Sorry for making this message so long.

What about uninstalling, and then reinstalling the application. Sounds like some files in the application may be missing or corrupted?

To Paul - Thanks for the reply back - I got so frustrated today - that I (I should say my daughter) uninstalled & reinstalled the programme & that cleared up the problem.
Thanks again for your reply - much appreciated - I can almost certainly rely on someone answering me through BBS

Thanks for letting us know Lucy.
Yes sometimes problems are more easily fixed by an uninstall/reinstall. Glad that was your case and you're up and running. :)
