    Can someone help please?

I am trying to access an ex-employees PC, however there is a password to access Windows.

Is there a way around this?

    Many thanks.

Log on using Administrator Account. Got to Control Panel\Performance and Maintenance\ComputerManagement\Expand System Tools, then Local Users and Groups. Select Users. In the right pane right click on the users account and choose Set Password. Read the info in the Set Password dialog box. If you have a password reset disk use it, if not, click proceed. Type in the new password and confirm it. Click OK. Click OK to confirm that the password has been set. Post back and let the forum know how it turned out. Good luck.

    No!!

This is incorrect!! Microsoft even tells you if your not too lazy to look. go to

RuN > Regedit > Local User Machine .. SAM this is a database for holding windows passwords.
