    Having problems deleting the file?
    Disable System Restore.
Install MoveOnBoot, as it will delete it, no matter what. Right click on the file, instead of selecting Delete, choose MoveOnBoot instead. Then reboot, and the file will be gone!
You need to have System Restore disabled, because if you don't, the file gets put back.

Don't give up, we'll get this thing. ;) It's actually not a virus. it's malware, but has trojan like characteristics which is why AVG see's it. Since it isn't really a virus, AVG doesn't have the signatures to remove it. Lets check out some other things.

First, did you try renaming it, and/or moving it to the desktop, in safe mode, and then deleting it? If not, do so. If that doesn't work, I would like you to go to start>run and type regedit, then by clicking the + signs, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows, right click the windows key and select export. Save it to your desktop with file name AppInit and as file type: text files (*.txt). Drop down to the Winlogon key and expand it, right click the Notify key and export it, saving to the desktop as file name Notify and file type: text. Close regedit. Open the saved files and copy/paste the contents here.

    Also, download PV.zip.

    http://tools.zerosrealm.com/pv.zip

Unzip it to the desktop. It will not work if you run it from inside the zip. After unzipping open the pv folder. Double click on the runme.bat. A dos window will open. Select option 1 for explorer dlls by typing 1 and then pressing enter. Notepad will open with a log in it. Copy and paste the log here.
