Is There A Picture Folder In Me ?

    Is there a 'my Pictures" folder in ME ? My daughter is using ME and she is living in another City from me, and she is trying to download pictures from her digital camera onto her computer as I do, into a My Pictures folder but cannot find it. I am using XP, which enables me to download automatically without have to install the software which came with the camera. Can anyone tell me if this is possible with ME so that I can pass it on. Many thanks, :) :confused:

    The My Picture is a folder like any other folder. It's just built into Windows. It also plays no part in the actual download on any operating system. It's just the target/defualt download location in XP.

    I plug in my usb cable->go to my computer->find the camera and cut the pictures out and paste them into a folder I created for the "occasion. "

    I'm in the photofinishing industry and everything is going digital these days. Rather than waste time hooking up a cable and trying to get the pictures out of the camera, why not go to Best Buy, etc and buy a card reader? These days you can get a card reader for an average of about $30. Then you just insert the media card (ie compact flash, smart media, memory stick, etc) into the USB reader, plug it into the USB port on the front of your computer, and it appears as a drive in explorer. Nothing could be easier.

    Just my .02 :)
