    Version 5
I downloaded and installed it and now it won't recognize my Product Key.
It will not allow me to download anymore updates. I have a legal copy of XP installed.

You may have PAID for a legal version, but may have received something bogus.

Microsoft accepted the Product activation when I installed it and I never had a problem installing updates from version 4.

Call Microsoft and get it straight. Maybe the vendor is selling more copies of than it's supposed to. The new updater is going after a lot of "known" bogus copies.

It was a upgrade disk. I upgraded XP Home. Is there a way to go back to XP Home without losing everything?
