    Hello,

    I switched from IE6 to Firefox 0.9
I really like Foxfire, but now I am considering Mozilla so that I can use the email client.

Would it be better to just download and install Thunderbird to replace Outlook Express since I already have FoxFire configured...OR

Can I uninstall FoxFire and install Mozilla without loosing my FoxFire settings.

    Hey again 24jedi...

IMHO I would run both (Firefox and Thunderbird)...I like the fact that my mail is separate from my browser. Everybody has their preference...your the one running the apps...you need to make the final decision.

If you don't mind testing try using Mozilla...see if you like it. If you don't then it's just an uninstall.

    Thanks, Dobhar

I am unsing Mozilla at home and Foxfire at work. I will probably use Thunderbird at work as you have suggested.

As for testing, I honestly don't see much difference between Foxfire and Mozilla yet, with respect to browsing. Although, I have only switched within the last two weeks. But, as a sys admin, I am always on the pc.

    Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't consider the move from Firefox to Mozilla an upgrade. I think Firefox is better. So I'd definitely recommend Thunderbird. If you are in experimental mode you could look at the alternatives like Eudora, Pegasus or Courier for that matter. Once you've split the browser function from the e-mail function your choice widens greatly.
