HARD DRIVE NOT SEEN IN "MY COMPUTER"

    Im Adding A Second Hard Drive To A Friends Computer.its An Older Computer Running Windows 98se.the Bios Sees The Drive As A Slave Drive Running On Ide1 Cable With The Master Hard Drive.the Main User Of The Computer Is Unable To See The Hard Drive In "my Computer "or Windows Explorer.the Device Manager Does See It.the Wierd Thing Is That All Other Users Can See It.seems Like Some Setting Is Off Somewhere.just Dont Know Where.

    Programs like TweakUI (in twaeks "my computer" section) have options to uncheck drives and thus, they can't be seen.

    Suggestion...

    Hi

    Might want look at ...

    Start | Settings | Control Panel | Passwords

    Click on tab marked "user profiles "

    radio button labeled "all users use same settings etc etc etc ... "

    Not 100% sure bout that...but thought it worth suggesting
