Nav.Excel

Hi
Does anyone know what Nav.Excel is? The file is named as a0006274.dll. but it's somehow got re-named from it's original name of NHelper.dll. Nav.excel will re-direct you to webservicehost.com. So obviously it's a hijacker of sorts but the file size is over 12mb ! So okay, I've got spybot s & d and ad-aware on my pc which was how I got the explanation of what it is but I cannot find any in depth details about it i.e what else it can do and how else it can affect the pc.

 

Have you been to add/remove, and removed Navhelper?

It's my 2nd pc that's got nav.excel on. The reason I needed to know what it could do, was so that I had the choice or either keeping or deleting it without any disasterous results. That link you gave me was very informative.

Have deleted nav.excel but haven't really noticed any changes at all ( YET ! )
