I've been trying to install SP4 so I can properly upgrade my graphics card and not get kicked out of SW:KOTOR every five minutes. I did install the newest ATI 4.6 drivers for my newly purchased 9800 Pro 128 megs. However, the driver update claimed it needed SP4. I have tried to install SP4, but everytime I do so, it tells me the kernel used to start the computer is not a windows file. I previously installed 98SE, then upgraded to my copy of 2000 pro, both of which I own. Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening?

    I am running 2000 on a XP 1700+, with 512 MB, Radeon 9800 Pro 120.

    ANY help would be appreciated.

    Best and thanks.

Have you been trying to load SP4 directly from the internet, from a downloaded copy, from a CD copy?

Worth running the corporate full install. It is around 130MB, so on dialup is a bit impractical. It should also be available on PC mag cover cd's etc.
