Read Daizy's reply to another post, so I thought I'd take a look at my User Accounts in XP Home. Besides my administrator account I found a guest account and one named: ASP.NET Machine A... marked as limited account and password protected. Have no idea what that represents or how it got there. Should I just delete it without further adieu? I "m the sole user of this machine.

    Thanks anybody.

Interesting, Dobhar. Thanks for the eye-opener.

Some of the new software out there requires you to have Microsoft .Net Framework installed to work. For Example CleanCache 2.0

If you see new accounts that you didn't remember setting up, the safest option is to just disable them. After a while if no problems, you may opt to remove them but they don't take much space and no resources so probably best to just keep them but disabled.
