OE6 rules, someone explain pls, not working!

    I have tried so many times to get these darned rules to work and they just don't for me, and the couple of times they have worked was a total fluke!

    First of all, when I go to create a "rule" the only folders I get an option to choose from are the local folders, not the email folders... Most of my accounts are hotmail accounts, is this why? When I want to sort them as they come into OE I don't get that option for setting up the rules, as the Hotmail folders don't come up.. does that make sense???

    I get sooo many emails from many lists I'm on that I would love to sort them as they come in, can someone help me?

    Yup! Rules work only with POP3 accounts - and Hotmail ain't POP3.
