I have 2 problems. 1st - instead of page #'s, I am getting a line that looks like maybe simplified chinese. How do I fix this? 2nd - nearly every page I print is truncated down the entire right side. Hard to read a bunch of unfinished sentences. I have tried to resize using my printer Director, print setting, but still get the same results. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

By the way, on probably all of the errors I have asked help for before, have been the result of the failure of my "cordless" mouse. Didn't know until it failed completely.

I will appreciate any help or advise I can get.

May be a daft question, but are you sure that the problem pages shouldn't be printed in landscape format?

Doesnt't sound "daft" to me! But then, considering..... It's worth a try. I ommitted the fact that this is nearyly always WEB page I'm trying to print. Although, the last one I had trouble with is "Windows BBS ". I was going to pring the newsletter to lay aside and post later, but the printer (HP Office Jet G85x1 All-In-One) truncated the entire right side of each page printed?

Isn't there a way to adjust the margins in IE? Seems I remember reading that but forgot where. My health problems create problems with my memory sometimes.

    Thanks for the response.

Roger hit the nail on the head :)

You can play around with the margins in IE and never get the whole page printed - it is something to do with the way the web page is written/coded.

Printing such pages in landscape format invariably solves the problem.

At the top of the thread under " Thread Tools " there is a selection for " Show Printable version. "

I have also had the printing problem with some thread. But showing the Printable version fixed it.

I forgot to add this but with some Web pages I have had to select the area that I wanted to print. And then make sure I instructed the Printer to print my selection only.

It may well be just my setup but to get the printer to do this I must use FILE-PRINT from the upper left corner of the screen,

In IE click file>page setup. This setting will also change the margins in OE.
